Pico’s Pictures Michigan Autumn

I met up with a local photography group for a walk around a local lake. The colors were just perfect.

Photograph of trees changing color in the fall. There are hues of green, yellow, orange, and red. A body of water is in the foreground while another while more trees in color are across the lake in the distance.
This is the reason why you go to this park. You can get an unobstructed view of the lake and the trees from the boardwalk.
A yellow leaf with brown spots being backlight by the sun. There is a distinct read mark on the leaf where an insect egg has caused the leaf to turn red.
I captured this maple leaf with a bug egg stain and held it up against the bright blue background and tree colors. The red mark made it very interesting.
The shadow of a plant is in great detail against a rock. The usual fuzziness that occurs around a shadow is missing.
This photo was taken to capture the crisp strong shadow of this plant.
Panorama image of the fall colors of the trees on the far side of the lake. In the foreground are green and yellow reads with the blue sky reflected in the water.
Panorama taken from the trail that goes around the lake. I was experimenting by focusing each image captures by looking at the leaves through the view finder. I used a tripod and leveled it before beginning and took each photo with a timer to prevent and vibration.
An insect walks along the edge of a sign that begins with the text ‘Life on the Edge’.
This just made me laugh. I love pictures of signs and this bug cooperated.
